JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting into the People, Planning & Culture (PP&C) Systems Support Manager, this role is a member of the level 2 support team who will act as the payroll systems specialist providing expert functional and technical skills and be the subject matter expert for the payroll system.

Under broad direction, this role is specifically accountable for analysing existing systems within PP&C and working in partnership with stakeholders and colleagues to develop and implement significant improvements to (PP&C) processes and optimal use of relevant systems. This involves analysis and definition of business requirements, identification, design, user testing and implementation of innovative solutions, including business process reengineering and system optimization.

This role needs to build strong working relationships across People & Culture and the broader organization to ensure effective and complete support of functional systems within the assigned domain. This position is responsible for driving high standard of customer service and working with stakeholders to ensure recognition of, and responsiveness to, the needs of internal and external stakeholders.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Substantial technical knowledge of iChris, preferably in a senior payroll or system administration capacity
  • Extensive experience in implementing functional solution with payroll software
  • Demonstrated experience in end to end payroll processing.
  • Ability to conceptualize, see the ‘bigger picture’ and create linkages
