The Role

Reporting to the Head of Experience Optimisation, our Conversion Rate Optimisation Specialists play a key role in the evolution and delivery of innovative digital experiences by analysing, assessing and optimising customer journeys across all Woolworths digital touchpoints.

Working with detailed online and offline data sets, you will design and execute roadmaps of experiments to improve user engagement, sales and retention goals within our website and app journeys.

Unique to this particular role, is a focus on our on-site Digital Media Inventory. You will be collaborating within a squad focused on growing our digital media and data proposition - innovating and experimenting with our commercialised digital experiences.

You will be responsible for the following:

Work effectively as member of the Experience practice at large, collaborating with User Experience, Content, Design and Operations peers to progress our strategy to seamlessly augment and personalise our customer shopping and inspiration experiences
Map, analyse and hone customer journeys across multiple digital products, channels and engagement touchpoints
Report, interpret and present qualitative and quantitative insights to aid and inform roadmaps of targeting or testing initiatives, articulating outcomes and opportunities to Product Managers and key senior stakeholders in an effective manner
Identify, assess and explore new tools and technologies that may uplift our capabilities or processes, and embed our governance frameworks within our Agile tribes and squads

About You

You’re focussed on our customer mission and passionate about being part of a great team who deliver digital data and optimisation capability within our Websites and Apps. You will be passionate about data and a business who are data-driven to provide actionable insight on behavioural metrics.
You will have past experience in an analytical role working in a digital setting ideally within a retail, start-up tech business or a large complex organisation with an understanding of improving the customer experience through the use of data.
Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience working in Conversion rate optimisation and/or digital analytics
  • Deep understanding of Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) standards, best practices and methodologies
  • A sound understanding of UX, UI design and customer lifecycle concepts
  • Advanced A/B testing experience using Adobe Target
  • Detailed knowledge of the Adobe Marketing Cloud - particularly in Adobe Analytics, Adobe Audience Manager and Adobe Target
  • Very strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills - you will need to be able to execute tests end-to-end
  • Proven history in accessing, handling and analysing customer data, digital data, and external data sources
  • Experience in using reporting / BI data visualisation tools such as Tableau or PowerBI is preferred
