JOB DESCRIPTION

Paediatric Occupational Therapist x 2

If you are looking for a real change in your current role, read on.

We are different to alot of other private practices, think of us as mum and dad looking after you rather than a business owner or 'director' on a mission of self importance. Our current and past staff reflect this, here is a quote from one of our own.."This is an amazing full-time opportunity for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to become part of a supportive work environment. You will instantly feel a part of the Ladybug House family!"

Family we are, we want the right person to be part of our established family business. Here is what we offer:

- Sensible and varied caseload – including assessments and therapy for a range of conditions and social skills groups. We also assess and treat children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disorders, all under the age of seven.

- Full Time (employee position which means you get paid annual and sick leave)

- Great environment to work in – we have a professional but relaxed work environment. During the interview process, there will be opportunities to speak to our team about why they love Ladybug House. We have extensive OT resources including a large indoor play unit with a slide and swing!

- Clinical Supervision and Professional Development – you will be supported by an experienced Occupational Therapist and have access to a generous professional development budget. You will also be working as part of a multidisciplinary team and will be able to participate in regular case discussions with other Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists.

- Ladybug House will work towards helping you grow in specific clinical areas of interest, to help you develop professionally and personally!

- Macbook Air supplied.

- Employee Assistance Program which includes access to counselling, a 'well being' budget and an interest free loan.

Why should you trust Ladybug House?

We are a family business and care about the well being of our team. We have been operating since 2013 and built up a strong word of mouth reputation. We are a humble organisation and try our best and we acknowledge that we are not perfect, but we are using all experiences to improve the way we work. We look to support our therapists in their interests and are working with partners in related fields to make a difference. Our management philosophy is family orientated. You are part of a family, you are not treated as a cog in an organisational wheel. We actively support you and have your back when you need us the most. We help you learn from your experiences and support innovative approaches without the unrealistic expectations of perfection.
