About you

With at least 4 years PQE, you will have experience in preparing and reviewing contractual documentation for a wide variety of complex projects, in addition to sound knowledge of commonly encountered standard form contracts. You will have experience in both front and back end construction matters, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build key business relationships.


You have excellent drafting and analytical skills with a practical and commercial approach to issues. You will be ambitious and demonstrate the ability to provide outstanding service to clients by prioritising and delivering desired outcomes consistently. You have solid verbal and written communication skills and are looking to join a friendly, social and collaborative team.


Your role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced construction lawyer to join Gadens' highly regarded Property, Planning and Construction group, working with Daniel Middleton and Andrew Denehy. The team has a strong client base and a solid pipeline of front and back end work, including construction, development and infrastructure. The role will see you preparing and negotiating all types of agreements, contracts and documents for building and engineering projects, as well as dispute resolution of all types in all relevant tribunals.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to work both autonomously and collaboratively with Partners and other senior members of the team. You will have considerable client contact and mentor junior lawyers, such as Graduates, as required.
