JOB DESCRIPTION
Support the Procurement Operations Manager deliver a world class Procurement user experience for Metro Trains Melbourne in this Procurement Advisor role. This role will be the first point of contact for business or supplier issues for requisitions where you will provide high levels of customer service across queries relating to ordering, receipting, receiving, contracting, prequalification or administrative requirements that are required to deliver an efficient and agile method of procuring.
In addition to the above, your daily responsibilities will include;
- Act as Centre of Excellence for P2P and S2C, build and maintain working relationships with the P2P champions to promote a best in class procurement culture for Metro Trains
- Product and Service Catalogue and Ariba Guided Buying setup and Administration
- Contract Enablement, Contract database administration and outline agreements
- Enablement of Suppliers in all of Metro's Procurement Systems to enable transactions; including prequalification initiated by either New Supplier request or other business requirement
- Assist in queries in regards to P2P process covering Requisitions, Purchase Order Management, Receipting, Service Entry Sheets, Reconciliation, Invoicing and any exceptions to the process.
- Purchase Requisition processing to ensure Purchase Orders are processed and sent to Suppliers in line with Procurement policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Provide suggestions and process improvements to improve the user experience or operational efficiency and play a part in implementing
In order to be successful you will possess the following;
- VCE, Tertiary qualifications preferred in Information Management System or Commerce.
- Demonstrable Experience with SAP Ariba Spend Management (Source to Contract) and Buying and Invoicing (Procure to Pay) ,All Microsoft Office applications
- Preparing and delivering user training across multiple media formats.
- Strong Customer Service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Must be resilient self-starter with a can-do problem solving mindset who takes personal pride and accountability of their work.
- Strong team player
- Ability to collect, analyse and present data and information
