The Fundraising and Marketing department aims to raise money through various income streams to support the work of our research so that there is a future for all children to live cancer free. The Fundraising Administrator will be a casual resource to the entire Fundraising team and provide administrative support where requires. This role will include but not be limited to data entry, donation processing and reconciliation, customer service and general administration duties such as invoicing, receipting, mail handling, general database maintenance and inputting information to increase and improve our systems and processes and assist in providing the best possible care to our donors. This role will at times include communicating and proactively responding to donor support including inbound and outbound phone calls. An awareness and adherence to PCI compliance and data privacy and the ability to demonstrate this during communication with our donors and supporters is of great importance. Responsibilities will include: Process all types of donations and amendments to Salesforce by following agreed Standard Operating Procedures to reconcile monies received from donors. Receipt and/or acknowledge all types of donations and inform key stakeholders of any significant donations/activities. Administer daily, weekly and monthly integrity checks within the database. Responsibility for accurate data entry of supporter profile (name, address and contact details) and actions/discussions ensuring excellence of data integrity. Ensure fast and appropriate responses and tracking of all enquiries and complaints General data entry to support various fundraising teams to assist the improvement of campaigns, programs and processes. General administration including mail handling, database maintenance, data entry and stakeholder liaising. Perform job functions in a team focused approach, with the aim of meeting the strategic goals of the Fundraising Department and Children’s Cancer Institute. Provide a professional level of customer service to all current and prospective donors as well as the general public across email, phone and mail communications. Answering calls from supporters and the public in a polite, empathetic and positive manner, while reinforcing the values of Children’s Cancer Institute and adequately thanking individuals for their support Respond to queries from existing donors by phone, email, mail, regarding both their support of Children’s Cancer Institute and informing them about our organisation and fundraising objectives.
