This is a Permanent Part Time appointment up to 64 hours per fortnight.

Position Profile: With responsibility for the Area Management portfolio, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for the management of human and material resources within a defined area. As part of a multidisciplinary team the Clinical Nurse provides clinical and professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence-based nursing care is delivered to patients and facilitates and promotes patient safety and quality of care. The Clinical Nurse practices within their scope of practice considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.

Area Profile: Kalamunda District Community Hospital (KDCH) is a specialist hospital and is part of the Armadale Kalamunda Group. The hospital provides both day surgical procedures and a specialist inpatient palliative care service for patients in the east metropolitan area.
