- Drive and support a strong resilient business within the Banking & Wealth CFO team
- Support the Executive Manager Wealth Performance Management team to drive financial performance
- 6 month contract (This is a management accounting role)
The role of the Senior Analyst Wealth is to drive optimal financial performance in SPSL with a strong focus on revenue, funds under administration and flows. This role provides a forward-looking radar on revenue and provides performance analytics and insights that create future value for the organisation. This role is heavily revenue focused within the Wealth Performance Management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a forward-looking radar on Revenue, FUA and Flows and drive financial performance through performance analytics and insights
- Work with key Wealth team members as a trusted partner and advisor to support them to drive and optimise the wealth business
- Support the alignment of the Wealth and Group goals and objectives through insight, challenge and robust planning and forecasting processes
- Provide insights that help to embed effective product pricing and profitability disciplines in the business to deliver sustainable business growth
- Partner closely with the Wealth business and ensure revenue, FUA and flows forecasts and performance add value and contribute to the overall achievement of the Wealth plan
- Deliver all external and internal performance reporting for the Wealth business as agreed
- Support the delivery of robust 3 year forecast/budget processes and provide insights that outline challenges linked clearly to strategy and drivers
- Tertiary qualifications in either Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Applied Science etc (Mandatory)
- Post graduate qualification in Accounting such as CPA
- Extensive experience in a management accounting or financial reporting team in the financial services industry preferred
- Experience within superannuation or wealth management accounting is ideal
- Highly developed analytical and quantitative skills and ability to apply them in a daily working environment
- Ability to investigate, analyse and report on current market issues and their implications
- High degree of computer literacy and a developed knowledge of financial risk management concepts
