About The Role

Our Technology Support Team in NSW is seeking a highly capable and experienced Technology Support Coordinator to lead the delivery of local technical support services across a range of technology systems and services to ABC users in New South Wales, ensuring broadcast continuity of ABC program and network requirements. In this unique role, you will work in collaboration with the Service Coordinator and Technology Integration Coordinator to provide leadership and supervision to the Technology Support team.

Under the broad direction of the Technology Support Manager you will also:
  • Lead the successful and professional delivery of a broad range of solutions focused, technology support and maintenance activities to maintain continuity of systems and to minimise service disruptions.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a proactive approach to systems maintenance and management to improve the reliability and stability of systems.
  • Lead the continual review and analysis of work practices to deliver efficient and effective technical support and proactive solutions for key stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to support engagement with Local and National support teams and contribute significantly to the growth and sharing of knowledge.
  • Collaborate and consult with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective advice, solutions and service delivery across all aspects of the Technology Support function.
  • Keep up to date with and advise clients in relation to new and emerging broadcast technologies, as appropriate.
  • Support the Service Coordinator with the overall operational management of Technology Support to ensure effective and efficient use of resources and compliance with budgets.
  • Coordinate external contractors as required and ensure compliance with site access policies and procedures.

About You

To be successful in the role you have a positive and organised approach to leading a team, with a customer driven attitude. We are seeking someone with qualifications in a relevant discipline, or demonstrated significant equivalent skills, knowledge and experience. You will also have the following:
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge of, and outstanding experience in the provision of technical support, maintenance and operations in a broadcast technology environment.
  • Demonstrated outstanding leaderships skills with the ability to lead, supervise and support teams.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience working with key stakeholders within a complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated planning, financial and resource management skills.
  • Highly developed understanding of the direction of technical innovation and its application, preferably in the broadcast industry.
