Property Governance Coordinator

Lendlease is a market leader in real estate, construction, infrastructure and investments. Our Australian Property business includes the Retirement Living, Development, Funds and Asset Management businesses operating across the residential, commercial, retail and industrial sectors. Lendlease is searching for a Property Governance Coordinator to join our business on a 12-month contract basis.

The Role

In this role, you will support the Head of Operational Excellence in identifying opportunities to deliver best practice improvements across our Australian Property operations to support the execution of our business strategy. You will also project manage and support the implementation of major strategic and digital initiatives and be responsible for operating regional governance platforms.

Accountabilities

Act as Platform Manager for COMPASS – a project delivery governance tool for our development projects. As Platform Manager, you will oversee the proper administration of the governance tool through all approval gates, manage approval and change requests, coordinate induction training and provide guidance to users. You will also provide reporting to the COMPASS Approval Forum (comprising members of senior management) and act as the secretariat for that forum.

Act as Site Owner of Compass Workspace – a central repository of policies, procedures, documents and templates for Property Australia. You will work with a broad range of senior operational representatives across the business to ensure the content is up to date and coordinate periodic updates or upgrades to the site as required.

Support the operation of our Regional Investment Committee, a weekly forum comprising our regional CEO, COO and CFO where major investment and capital proposals are considered.

Provide project and change management support to facilitate the successful embedment and ongoing operation of our digital initiatives and governance policies.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas: project management, development management, change management, contract administration, policy, operations, risk, compliance or executive management support.

You will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work comfortably within a busy team environment.

You will ideally possess advanced skills in Microsoft products including Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Experience in In-Design, Tableau or Enablon would be advantageous.

You will be a pro-active and positive ‘can do’ approach- a growth mindset, organised individual, with the ability to take initiative, effectively manage competing priorities, utilise the broad support network available across the business and build relationships across a range of stakeholders.

A proactive operator you will display a high level of emotional intelligence (EQ).

Managing your own time effectively will be also be key.
