The Role:

We are excited to imbed this critical role into our Australian and New Zealand business to enable our Sales professionals to sell more effectively by providing the right resources, methodologies, processes, and technology. The role reports into a US based Manager with a close dotted line to our local GM Commercial, based in Melbourne. The role synchronizes multiple participants across our Leadership, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to focus on increasing the sale teams’ efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity. The role requires a thorough understanding of the business-to-business sales and customer lifecycles, and is responsible for the execution of enablement programs in the local region.


Key deliverables of this role include the execution of a holistic go to market enablement strategy; refining and driving alignment on enablement priorities, contributing to the design and optimisation of programs like new hire onboarding, sales training and certification programs; partnering with the Sales team as a mentor/coach to improve sales acumen; and, working with first-line managers to assess the sales team members’ capability and determine their ongoing development needs.


The role is also responsible for contributing to the development of internal resources, enablement sessions, and customer-facing materials for all product, content, and service releases. It develops and communicates an ongoing enablement calendar; delivers engaging content virtually; and applies a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of the training. Naturally, we need to ensure all your efforts have the right impact, so you’ll spend some of your time analysing both qualitative and quantitative data to gain insights on opportunities that drive business results and measuring the of enablement programs on key business metrics.


The Person:

You enjoy working ‘shoulder to shoulder’ with a diverse team and are energized with the thought of affecting change, driving initiatives, creating / delivering content, and growing as an Enablement professional. You have some grounding in B2B field-based sales and have developed skills in Learning and Development as a trainer or facilitator. You understand the importance of consistent messaging as a team grows in scale, the criticality of sales methodology and the disciplines required to succeed. You are known for your finely tuned coordination abilities, have exceptional project management and organisational skills, and are very effective and engaging with your communication both verbal and written.

To be successful in this role we want to ensure that you possess :


  • An ability to motivate others on a team and help them succeed
  • Solid demonstrable B2B experience working in a Sales, Marketing, and/or Customer Success Enablement role
  • Strong organizational, planning, project management, problem resolution, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills
  • Experience in executing an Enablement Strategy for field-based teams , ideally
  • A strong understanding of the different Sales enablement needs in technology or professional services companies
  • Experience contribution to content creation including presentations, decks, and videos
  • Experience with facilitation and content delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Critical thinking and change management
  • An ability to work within a fast-paced, high-growth work environment.
