Mandatory Skills:

  • Minimum 16 years of experience in a client facing role in a consulting firm or an account/engagement management role in the IT professional services offshore/outsourcing industry.
  • Good understanding of Insurance Guidewire platform covering Policy administration, Claims management and Billing.
  • Proven experience delivering and managing Guidewire platform upgrade and engagement engagements.
  • Good understanding of core banking products like Hogan or Temenos.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell large multiyear deals in insurance and banking related services
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, client service and business writing and consulting skills, coupled with a strong interest in further designing, developing and integrating business operations and technology
  • Experience in setting up large scale multi country managed services delivery.
  • Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues in
    • Business and consumer insurance industry practices,
    • Lending, deposit, payment and wealth banking practices and
    • Digital technologies.
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Strong background in a project environment and application development.
  • Proven ability to contribute to new business development efforts and to lead and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Proven experience in setting up master service agreement across complex pricing constructs.
  • Demonstrable problem solving abilities with the aptitude to identify strategic solutions to business problems with enterprise-wide implications.
  • Demonstrate the flexibility to work among diverse corporate environments, industries and technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Client relationship manager responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
  • Understand Insurance and Banking IT and business operations and create trailed solutions for customers.
  • Create engagement roadmap for upgrade and rollout of Insurance and Banking COTS products like Guidewire, Hogan, Temenos, DuckCreek etc.
  • Understand Cognizant capabilities aligned to Banking and Financial services and map it to customer value chain.
  • Analyzes business cases in terms of the business environment, technical infrastructure, system capacity and business response time expectations when proposing solutions.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of our clients’ unique needs and goals, before leading a team in developing and delivering meaningful improvement insights.
  • Liaise between customers and Cognizant cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.
  • Manage on-time and on-budget delivery with planned profitability, consistently looking to improve quality and profitability
  • Responsible for Backlog growth - Existing projects, Renewals/Extensions of current projects and Rate Revisions
  • Drive RFPs / Proactive bids with respect to Renewals, Extensions, Application/Project additions, Application rationalization and modernization
  • Build senior and strategic relationships through delivery excellence.
  • Support and drive firm-wide delivery initiatives, as directed.
