Our client is a well-established WA owned and operated Electrical Distributor to the Mining and Industrial sectors, and they are looking for their next dynamic team member to join their crew in the position of Internal Electrical Stores/Salesperson to commence immediately.

You will be responsible for:

• Processing and dispatching customer orders
  
• Stock control and warehouse duties
  
• Supporting the team with new business opportunities
  

You will:

• Not be afraid to get in and help out across both areas of the business
  
• Be computer savvy and able to pick up software easily
  
• Be highly organised and a real 'self-starter'
  
• You enjoy talking to people and have great communication skills
  
• Excellent customer service focus with the ability to help, influence and negotiate sales
  
• The ability to work autonomously and equally as well as within a team environment
  
• Have a forklift ticket and experience operating
  
• Be able to pass a Pre Employment Medical including a DAS
  

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will have the following:

• A keen interest in the electrical industry
  
• Previous warehousing/stores experience preferred
  
• Capable of phone sales and enquiries
  
• Be customer service focused and able to support the team with client requests, queries, quoting, sales and processing/dispatching both national and international orders
  
• Able to co-ordinate the stock including warehousing, dispatch and receivables of specialised electrical products to a wide range of industries such as electrical contractors, switchboard manufacturers, irrigation industry, OEMs and mining
  
• Capable of fulfilling customer enquiries via telephone, email and trade counter providing excellent customer service and data entry
  
• Receiving and receipting of incoming goods
  
• Picking and packing of orders
  
• Stock assembly, stock control
  
• Operate a forklift (and hold a current LF license) safely
  
• Local customer deliveries
  
• Maintaining a safe and clean warehouse
  
• Liaising with suppliers effectively
