The key focus of the Project Manager (VIC) will be to project manage large infrastructure projects delivered through project financed contract models through to financial close.

This role will also be responsible for developing business opportunities for Pacific Partnerships and other CIMIC operating subsidiaries.

Located in Melbourne the role will:

  • Identify and develop PPP and project financed opportunities in geographic area of Victoria
  • Develop relationships with CIMIC opcos (including CPB and UGL) to manage pipeline
  • Support the ongoing client relationships
  • Support the Project Director to successfully lead and manage PPP bids and other financed bids
  • Lead the bid management process and administrative work stream
  • Coordinate technical, commercial and finance work streams
  • Prepare and manage bid budgets, resourcing plans and schedules
  • Manage and support effective stakeholder engagement with representatives of construction, operations, finance and legal components of bids
  • Contribute to approval papers required for various phases of the procurement process
  • Manage the setup of bid management and administration systems
  • Support the bid approval process and internal governance 

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  • Tertiary Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or other related technical discipline
  • Significant experience in similar level role, in PPP projects for Construction or related industry
  • 10+ years post graduate project management experience in the construction or infrastructure industry
  • 5+ years’ experience in project management of private financed greenfield infrastructure
  • Construction and/or Operations sector bidding experience
  • Proven relationship building, people management and stakeholder management skills
