JOB DESCRIPTION

Telstra Health

At Telstra Health, we’re building solutions that improve the quality, safety and efficiency of healthcare delivered across Australia. Working with clinical and administrative systems, health data analytics, population health solutions and information exchange platforms, we’re enabling clinicians to deliver care in new ways.

Help us shape a connected future for healthcare by:

  • Creating and owning data architecture deliverables at various levels (e.g logical data models, data governance plans, data integration roadmaps and data storage / management / access tooling plans).
  • Providing conceptual, logical and physical data design, and database modelling (for data warehousing and reporting objectives).
  • Understanding the business and organisational context and using this knowledge to highlight and maximise the value of data assets to the NCSR.
  • Incorporating standards and best practices into engineering solutions.
  • Designing, developing and maintaining scalable end-to-end data processes and participating in architecture design and discussions with Engineering leadership.

To take up this challenge you will be strong architect who is well-versed in conceptual, logical and physical data models. You will have experience of relational and NoSQL data storage and JSON and XML experience and a strong ability to apply data modelling techniques.

You’ll build connections for life through:

  • Joining “an exciting innovative organisation”….listen to our MD Mary Foley share more of her thoughts in this short video.
  • Being part of Healthcare’s digital future. Watch our video which explains how Telstra Health is shaping it now.
  • Joining the NCSR project is a way to see how Telstra Health is improving the prevention, detection and treatment of bowel and cervical cancers for 11 million Australians. Cancer screening saves lives.

If you’d like to play a part in building digital health solutions that make a difference, get in touch. We’d love to hear from you.

NB: As the successful applicant will be working on a Commonwealth project, you must be an Australian citizen to be considered for this role.
