Job Summary/Introduction

Use your financial services and insurance regulatory experience to provide quality business analysis services to a significant service reform program.


Our client, a busy financial services organisation, is currently undertaking a program of work that will deliver various solutions to enable service reform across the business. They are seeking multiple business analysts to contribute to the delivery of the initiative. If successful, you will be responsible for the provision of multiple business analysis activities across the program lifecycle. 

These are initial contract roles until June 2021, with likely extensions, based in Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate finalisation, deep dive, mock-ups and approval of agreed business requirements.
  • Provide a backlog of prioritised elaborated business requirements prior to technical elaboration.
  • Engage and consult extensively with relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops and deep dive sessions, providing guidance through to delivering required outputs.
  • Provide traceability matrix to support the delivery of projects and initiatives.
  • Develop features, epics and business user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Liaise with project team members, specifically Solution Delivery Lead, developers and testers, to provide insight, guidance or further analysis for user stories, requirements, business rules etc.
  • Provide support to testers by assisting with test cases, scenarios and triage of test results.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the organisational Business Analysis Practice.

What you will bring:

  • 5+ years experience as a business analysis practitioner with expertise in writing business and functional requirements, business user stores, acceptance criteria, process models and other analysis/design artefacts.
  • An ability to facilitate business sessions and/or workshops across all levels of the business.
  • A solid understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
  • Strong senior stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Financial services and insurance regulatory experience.
