What is the role?

We are looking for a Common Infrastructure Product Owner to join our IT team, based in Wollongong NSW or Mount Waverley Vic. The role primarily exists to own and manage all IT Cloud and Platform Services over their complete lifecycle. This includes developing and managing a clearly defined product roadmap and budget that delivers on business capability requirements within budget.

Reporting to the Head of Technology Delivery, this position will Lead the development of Common Infrastructure Service Roadmaps to deliver IT services aligned with the IT Strategy.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced IT Product Owner with proven capability to:-

  • Provide leadership in the IT function, setting standards for professional conduct and inspiring other team members to deliver continuously improving services and value
  • Manage the contracted relationships with service providers to ensure services are delivered to agreed SLA’s and support business objectives.
  • Ensure Common Infrastructure Services develop and improve in line with investment roadmap and plan.
  • Develop and manage the budget for Common Infrastructure services in line with the service Technical roadmap
  • Deliver the portfolio of Common Infrastructure projects. Build strong relationships with and gain the trust of the senior business management team
  • Be a catalyst and driver for change

  • Tertiary qualifications in an IT or related discipline.
  • 10+ years industry experience with a minimum 5 years of IT Infrastructure Service Delivery Management.
  • Extensive and demonstrable knowledge of platform technology and trends.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic technology planning, information systems coordination and demand management.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing large budgets.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing service providers in a multi-vendor environment.
  • Experience with IT service delivery frameworks, methodologies and process implementation.
