Palantir Foundry manager opportunity for innovative federal agency responsible for critical applications.

Your new role

Co-ordinate the work of development teams, Palantir contractors, Foundry operations staff and infrastructure teams to ensure Foundry upgrades, system maintenance and pipeline software releases meet business needs. At a high level, establishing and co-ordinating the ongoing operation of processes that oversee the governance and operation of the analytics pipeline. This includes release and deployment management, process design for health monitoring, and incident management and triaging.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A degree in software engineering / computer science or related field.
  • A background in production software engineering and / or DevOps with a track record of achieving quantifiable results.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Scala and Java.
  • Strong skills in data wrangling with complex datasets (SQL, Apache Spark and/or Hadoop)
  • Experience with distributed computing frameworks (e.g. Apache Spark and/or Hadoop)
  • Experience with using Palantir Foundry and search platforms (e.g. ElasticSearch, Apache Solr) would be an advantage
  • An aptitude towards understanding and designing complex systems and processes, an eye for detail, and the ability to engage with complexity
  • A proven ability to provide strong technical leadership, and be self-motivated
  • The ability to develop strong working relationships and engage effectively with stakeholders, while managing competing demands.
