Cessnock is located only a short distance away from the Hunter Valley vineyards and is the administrative centre of the City of Cessnock Local Government Area. It is a vibrant town, surrounded by countryside and full of affordable dinning and accommodation and home to the Cessnock District Hospital.

Where you'll be working:
Cessnock District Hospital is a 64-bed facility that provides emergency, surgical and general medical care to the area’s growing population. You will be joining their dynamic team to provide safe compassionate person centred care within the unit/facility ensuring safe care is delivered across various units.

About you:
The successful applicant will be a flexible and hardworking individual who can persevere in challenging situations. You will have excellent interpersonal skills for facilitating positive, effective working relationships and possess the ability to adapt to different communication styles. You will have strong time management and organisational skills for this dynamic environment and will confidently be able to delegate aspects of care to ENs and AINs according to their competence and within their scope of practice.
