The aspect of the role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Business Development
    • Plan approaches and pitches for new business through positive engagement with the Workplace Technology Sales Teams in the Commercial and Ricoh Dealer Space
    • Qualify opportunities, manage the preparation of quotes and related documentation to progress through the sales cycle.
    • Identify and understand customer business issues and proactively provide simple packaged solutions that are mutually beneficial to Ricoh and the client
    • Develop proposals that are focused on client's needs, positioning Ricoh Solutions including Ricoh Collaboration Board and Projectors, a broad range of Audio-Visual, Unified Communication solutions and services across Meeting Spaces, Visitor Management, Workplace Utilisation and Management, Digital Signage, Unified Communications, and other key solution sets
    • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline, by prospecting potential new customers, working with active Ricoh customers, Audio Visual consultants, real estate developer, designers, facility management, IT and suppliers to cultivate new business opportunities and new business wins.
    • Develop and implement a strategy to sell Ricoh Products through a Distribution channel
    • Forecast sales targets, maintain pipeline activity, update customer details and complete key reporting
    • Deliver allocated sales target
  • Customer and market engagement
    • Research and develop plans for growth to position Ricoh C&C as a leading solutions for Collaboration
    • Liaise with industry analysts, Ricoh as a vendor and 3rd party vendors and suppliers around product offerings, discounts, certifications and negotiation
    • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Collaboration
    • Consult with clients and Ricoh Sales representatives on industry trends and best practices related to services being provided and resolve client escalations to expectation.
    • Work with Marketing, vendors and distributors to develop leads that deliver a growing pipeline of new business leads
    • Operate work collaboratively with other departments
    • Maintain solid knowledge of the industry, including technical solutions and business trends that affect the AV/IT industry

To be successful in this role:

The suitable candidate will possess the following Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years quota carrying Collaboration technology, unified communications and audio-visual technology sales with business development experience
  • Successful sales targets achievements and strong desire to over-achieve revenue goals
  • Track record of business/account plan development and execution
  • Experience in handling both business and technical decision makers in customer organisations
  • Strong sales skills including business justification, negotiation and closing
  • Proven sales pipeline management skills and cadence
  • Transparency and assertiveness during sales process coordination
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent customer service and presentation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
