In the role of Data and Insights Analyst you will be providing quantitative reporting and analysis of Divisional data. You will be supporting the leadership team of the Division of Student Administration and Student Service Network, in shaping strategic frameworks that monitor Divisional services and performance, including student recruitment activities, customer service and other support services.

By leveraging your skills in data analysis and visualisation you will be responsible for designing and developing high impact reports and dashboards, to help form strategic decision. You will be able to influence stakeholders with the decision-making process by communicating key findings effectively through data visualisations and presentations. the language of data visualisations.

We are looking for a Data and Insights Analyst who loves data and the power of data to tell stories, to:

Contribute to the design, creation and maintenance of dashboards and regular reporting across multiple teams and systems
Combine, analyse and interpret data from multiple sources to reveal trends, patterns and insights
Communicate insights and findings in engaging and simple ways through presentations and visualisations
Work collaboratively to identify opportunities to influence change and contribute to the student experience at Deakin

To be successful, you will have:
Relevant degree, preferably in a quantitative or analytical discipline with subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
A proven track record (minimum 3 years working experience) as a Data Analytics professional
Experience with large, complex datasets and great storytelling skills to communicate concepts and insights
Good relationship skills and the ability to work within a team as well as autonomously
Demonstrate a willingness to learn, share knowledge with team members and work in a collaborative environment
