Makibe Australia is currently seeking a skilled Die Setter with 3 years experience for a permanent role with our well known plastics manufacturing client in Minto, NSW

-Permanent Role

-Salary negotiable depending on experience

-2-3 months of dayshift training

-Afternoon shift role however it is flexible

Successful applicants will have the following:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Die setter. (Trade Qualifications or Tertiary Qualifications -Highly regarded)
• Experience with Setting Moulding Machines and all relevant Ancillary equipment
• Strong Extrusion Blow moulding experience
• Current Forklift license
• A strong focus on safety and WH&S procedures
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethics
• A high level of fitness
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Main responsibilities: (But not limited to)

• Responsible for mould installations and setting requirements
• Continually develop and improve productivity in line with the companies manufacturing goals and policies
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of machinery
• Die setting / Moulding
• Prepare set and run Plastics - Extrusion Blow moulding machines
• Forklift operation
