Opportunity Over View

The Andersen Partnership has been exclusively retained to recruit a CEO for this International specialised business with a head office in Sydney.

The CEO position is a new role reporting directly into the Chairman, with a high performing board in support.

Our client has excellent year on year sales growth over the past 10 years and are now looking for an energetic and results orientated CEO to drive improvements and help the business execute on further strategic success.

Our client is a technical manufacturing and engineering business with a successful trading history for over 75 years, a turn over of more than $50M and a global customer base.

The Role;

Reporting to the Board, your role will be to deliver and contribute a clear strategic people and business plan as well help drive efficiencies in supply chain and sales.

The day to day duties will include;
  • Leadership of the executive team including Operations, Sales, Technology and Digital, Marketing, Finance, HR
  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the overall global business
  • Business Strategy: work with the leadership team, to analyse operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction and systems enhancement
  • Focus on improvements across the business
  • Build strong relationships with key external stakeholders including franchise members and customers
  • Reporting: assist with organisational planning and commercial decision making by providing appropriate, timely and insightful financial information
  • Ensure the organisation's values and mission are upheld
  • Working with the board to develop a clear digital strategy
  • Provide the Board with accurate and timely reporting.
The Person
  • A proven background from FMCG, Manufacturing or Engineering will be an advantage with clear achievements in delivering on business strategy and improvements.
  • You will have experience working with diverse, and at times, complex stakeholders across different countries.
  • You will have had experience driving significant business strategy, digital transformation and marketing with a digital focus. You have worked with organisations with a strong brand and a reliance on technology as sales platform. You will have developed loyalty and customer retention strategies as part of your business plans
  • Key to your success will be the ability to engage and develop the team, encouraging them to higher levels of performance. You will have a history of leading positive change delivering sustainable, profitable growth as an outcome.
