JOB DESCRIPTION
- Finance Analyst role - Telco experience highly desirable
- Macquarie Park location
- 3 month role - $45 + super hourly
The Company:
This large, reputable, ASX-listed services company based in Macquarie Park is rapidly expanding throughout its various divisions. This is a temporary role for 3 months initially.
The Role:
- Financial analysis in examining revenue and gross margin;
- Preparation of variance analysis, commentary on performance and key performance indicators;
- Responsible for the preparation of profitability analysis and involvement in future pricing exercises and/or operational improvements;
- Month end closure activities including posting journal entries, completing Balance Sheet reconciliations, P&L analysis;
- Assist in preparation of monthly management report;
- Preparation of monthly Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow forecasts;
- Preparation of annual budget;
- Preparation of financial models and analysis;
- Responding to analytical queries from stakeholders across the business;
- Assist with responding to auditor queries at half/year end;
- Assist and at times manage projects as they arise;
- Ad-hoc tasks to assist in &/or improve accounting processes
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous exposure in an analytical position is required
- Part CA / CPA qualification is required
- Excellent business partnering / communication skills are required
- Strong Excel skills are required
- Experience working in a large company (~$200 million AUD turnover and up) is required
- ASX-listed experience is advantageous
- Experience in a service oriented / infrastructure / telecommunications business is advantageous
