About the role
We are looking for an experienced Level 3 System Administrator, with extensive experience in the Microsoft Cloud space, to join our friendly and professional team.
Reporting to the Technical Director, you will be part of a team responsible for third level escalation support as well as assisting with the maintenance and smooth operation of the company's IT infrastructure.
You will proactively perform maintenance activities, while deploying and documenting technical solutions. You will also maintain strong relationships with a range of stakeholders including local and remote users, senior management, and external providers/third-party vendors.
We are looking for a team player who is customer orientated and has a proactive approach to problem-solving - with the ability to work independently as well as lead a project team being key to this role's success.

  • Minimum 7+ years' experience managing Microsoft Cloud (Office 365, Azure) and AWS
  • Minimum 7+ years' experience managing enterprise LAN, WAN and VPN Technologies
  • Strong networking skills - inc. Troubleshooting
  • Strong experience with cloud managed network vendors (e.g. Meraki, Unifi)
  • Strong experience with network monitoring tools (e.g. PRTG, Nagios)
  • Experience with backup software and hardware
  • Experience with anti-virus products (Webroot, Symantec)
  • Knowledge of VoIP Technologies (e.g. Mitel, 3CX)
Essential Skills
  • Administering and maintaining a range of networks and systems.
  • Providing network and systems guidance and support to large client portfolios
  • Supporting clients to resolve high level IT issues escalated within the Service Desk
  • Provide recommendations for improvements to infrastructure and IT processes
  • Overseeing patch management regimes and anti-virus compliance
  • The ability to communicate fluently in both oral and written form
  • Conceptual and analytic skills
  • The ability to mentor team members and collaborate with peers
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service orientation
Preferred Skills
  • Microsoft 365 / Azure Certified
  • AWS Certified
  • Working knowledge of Project Management principles
  • Previous experience developing and presenting training materials
  • Previous experience at a Managed Service Provider would be highly regarded
