PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Carpenter is responsible for constructing and maintaining residences and buildings.
SCOPE
The Carpenter is responsible for maintaining residential buildings as is our market.
This includes building items such as making repairs to the internal and external structure and ensuring buildings are safe.
RESPONSIBILITIES.
Main Activities
Replace rotten timbers
Finish the building and ceiling
Put in or bring up to standard flooring including supply and install peirs.
Finish the roofing
Erect and dismantle scaffolding
Build stairs and other items
Bring addition to Lock up stage.
Install internal linings
Fit out kitchens, bathrooms and wet areas
Remove and replace / Install Deck areas
Supply, operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment
Perform administrative duties
Keep a daily log of tasks
Supervise and train other staff.
Perform other related duties as required.
