Why this role?

KONE Australia and New Zealand currently has an opportunity for a seasoned Sales Consultant to join our Service team in Melbourne. This role will see you take the initiative to identify opportunities where we can have more impact with our customers, and ultimately maximise revenue and growth in the region.

What will you be doing?

Business development across a range of industries
Understand customer needs and requirements to capitalise on all lead opportunities, orders and contracts
Estimating, tendering and quoting small and large project submissions
Upselling and cross selling at every opportunity
Building strong partnerships with key internal KONE teams to facilitate a world class customer experience

Are you the one?

A passion for sales, with a proven track record and a strong customer focus
Previous experience working in a fast paced, commercial environment. Construction experience is advantageous
Experience using CRM (e.g. Salesforce) is essential
Demonstrated experience with tenders
Ability to read layouts, specifications and drawings, desirable
A hunter mentality
Valid Australian driver’s license
