The Positions

We are currently in need of experienced, qualified and passionate Residential Youth workers to engage with and provide trauma informed therapeutic support to children and young people. Being a part of a larger team enables you to promote a consistent and considered approach in the provision of direct care to young people who reside in residential care.

We are currently able to offer casual and, in some regions, ongoing permanent employment in Residential Services to help support young people across our network of 26 Residential Houses in 5 Regions:

North Metro
East Metro
South East
West Metro

About you

To be successful in this role you will need:
Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and Out of Home Care).


A relevant tertiary such as a Diploma or Cert IV in Community Services, AOD, Mental Health or Youth Work, a Social Work Degree or other relevant Qualification and a willingness to undertake 4 units of Trauma Informed Care Top Up Training
Previous experience working with young people of all ages.
The ability to work effectively with young people and to promote positive attributes and work towards planned change.
Flexibility, resilience and the ability to maintain best practice under challenging circumstances.
The ability to work effectively with a team to achieve program goals and objectives.
Current First Aid Certificate.
Current Drivers Licence
