Role Overview: 

The Group Resource Connector has energy, passion, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit. An empowered facilitator that reports directly into the Operations Director and works alongside the Integrated Project Management and Client Experience teams. Serves as a filter to also support department heads. They will be responsible for the integrated workflow of the Strategy, Creative, Social, PR and Behavioural Change projects.

This will require a clear understanding of these key disciplines and linking up the capabilities of the BWMD Group, this includes uunderstanding of government, particularly the tender process and of earned – PR, Social, Content.

This role exists to deeply understand the unique skillsets and personalities of BWMD Group and match them to the right project at the right time, to get the best result for our client partners.


  • Proactive management of the full integrated project – think three steps ahead, not just the immediate ask
  • Strong deadline orientation and a willingness and temperament to enforce this. Ensure efficient use of resource’s time (i.e. channelling downtime to cover other resources’ workload, partnerships, investments and where applicable agency pro-bono work)
  • A focus on verifying and guiding hours estimated, required and actuals
  • Dashboard hosted on Excel online/Microsoft Share point and use of Team Week
  • Solutions oriented: Forecast and flag ahead of time, when there is a resource crunch and suggestions on how to resolve it
  • Plan agency resource in a flexible, transparent and collaborative manner, using current established digital tools
  • Identify and document patterns, capabilities and types of briefs, help build on our existing our operational process assets
  • Ensure we are delivering to our client partners KPIs, delivery is always on time and extensions negotiated in a timely manner
  • Ensure delivery to our client partners agreed remuneration model and avoid scope creep not charged for
  • Ensure project feedback from client partners is positive (Will be measured in each project)

To qualify for this role, you must tick the boxes on the following: 

  • 5 years of experience in the relevant industries and an understanding the roles and structures within a full-service agency model
  • Project Management, or Producing experience in an advertising agency, PR agency, marketing agency, creative services, production house or interactive agency.
  • Proven track record managing internal teams successfully - balancing, client and internal expectations
  • Have a passion for brands and creativity
