Your role in our future.

The Research Computing Facility (RCF) provides data management support for research across Peter Mac. Key to this support are the administration of data management platforms and associated database development service.

This role is focused on supporting the data requirements of large-scale and cohort research trials and will provide the following services, as required:

  • Data management
  • Database development
  • Data migration
  • Database design and architecture

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Experience in database development, in research and clinical contexts
  • Experience in REDCap and MS Access database development
  • Experience with database design and architecture
  • A willingness to commit to the application of institutional data policies and procedures
  • Understanding of data and data management concepts in research contexts
  • Excellent communication, organisational, documentation and record-keeping skills
  • Proven ability to solve problems methodically, independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant degree in health, medical or biological studies

This position is initially fixed term for two years.
