Your new company
This NSW government agency are responsible for the health and environment of the state. They provide essential services across an essential and industrial portfolio of public service.
This role sits in their forward-thinking procurement team in Western Sydney.

Your new role
In your new role you will provide procurement analysis services within the organisation, working closely with the procurement team to ensure their roles are completed effectively and efficiently. Conduct data gathering, analysis and process documentation activities relevant to process improvement initiatives.Conduct post-implementation reviews of new processes to identify further improvement opportunities. Maintain and manage all Corporation-Wide Procurement policies, procedures, processes and tools. Provide research, analytics, insights and reporting support to category management, including the analysis of cost structures, supplier research, market indicators and expenditure opportunities in order to identify alternate supply strategies/suppliers, tender analysis and new products and services. Provide data and analytics to inform business cases, hypothesis development, benefits tracking for tenders and contracts and to support the development of sourcing strategies.

What you'll need to succeed

* 3-5 + years' experience in performing commercial analytical work
* Deep understanding of what good practice procurement processes and policy look like
* Candidates must be able to demonstrate high-level problem-solving skills and times when they have found solutions on their own and within a team environment
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills essential
* Experience with these systems would be beneficial - Ariba, FMIS, Maximo, Data Portal
* Ability to engage stakeholders to obtain buy in and contribution required to deliver assigned tasks
* Evaluates and coordinates continuous improvement ideas generated by others; gaining support for and prioritising ideas for implementation; recognises and mitigates potential conflicts with other proposals
