We are looking for a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic for a day shift role working on a fleet of trucks, tractors and light vehicles. Workshop conditions are clean and tidy and have hoists and pits. Experience on trucks would be highly regarded. You will need to show an ability to work as part of a team, work safely and efficiently and be flexible fixing a wide range of varying issues from day to day.

To be successful with this application you will need to have

* A trade certificate with minimum 3 years post trade experience
* Your own tool set and transport
* Experience in maintaining comparable equipment
* 2 contactable references from past supervisors
* HR Truck licence (desirable)
* Construction white card
* Forklift licence is an advantage

Good casual hourly pay rate. The work is temp labour hire starting ASAP; the initial assignment will be for 6 months with a very strong possibility of a permanent role to apply for. This is a good opportunity to get a foot in the door with an employer of choice in the Ipswich area, with very good clean modern workshop conditions.
