Description

Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Queensland Section is looking for a dedicated, confident, experienced and passionate Registered Nurse and Midwife to be a part of the Rockhampton Flight Nurse team. RFDS Rockhampton Base provides emergency aeromedical retrieval and inter-hospital transfer services to over 2,500 patients a year.

The Role;

* Permanent, Full Time role
* Located in Rockhampton

Essential Skills;

* Registered Nurse and Midwife
* Demonstrated 5 years' post graduate experience (full-time equivalent)
* Demonstrated 3-5 years experience in a critical care environment (recognised 24-hour Emergency Department or a recognised Intensive Care Unit)
* Ability to spend considerable time working in the confined spaces of a small aircraft

Desirable Skills (Can be obtained prior to starting employment)

* Current Advanced Life Support (ALS)
* Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
* Neonatal resuscitation certification
