The Team

As a Firm we recognise that the provision of first class legal services requires a talented and supportive team. At the very front line of this is our Brisbane Client Floor Team which caters for a wide variety of client and staff events ranging from coffee catch ups, sandwich lunches, and fine dining occasions. To support their efforts, the Client Floor team has a full kitchen set-up, stocked with state of the art cooking equipment. Using market fresh produce, our meals are prepared on site, with our menus being created daily to ensure we are incorporating the best available produce in innovative and interesting ways.

We are currently looking for an experienced professional with a real passion for food, wine and customer service to join our team on a permanent basis

Your Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the set up and delivery of breakfasts, lunches, dinners, formal and informal dining and catering. Further, you will take orders in client and staff meetings where discretion and professionalism is key. Ideally, you will have previous experience in a professional service, corporate catering or fine dining.

Reporting to the Boardroom Waiter Supervisor, you will take a 'hands on' involvement with all tasks and responsibilities including:

  • Delivering first class service to a range of different functions styles including, canape events, formal lunch and dinners and seminars.
  • Ensure that meeting rooms are set up correctly and timely for all functions
  • Barista experience essential in order to prepare and deliver coffees in a timely manner
  • Assist in unpacking deliveries, restocking fridges, cleaning and any back of house tasks required
  • Adhere to all firm policies and procedures, in particular confidentiality and WH&S including Covid Safe Policies
  • Other duties as directed by Boardroom Waiter Supervisor or Head Chef/Team Leader Client Floor

More About You

We are seeking applications from candidates who possess the following:

  • At least 2 years previous experience within a similar role, from corporate or professional services would be highly regarded.
  • a positive and flexible attitude with a high level of enthusiasm for your work
  • an uncompromising commitment to delivering outstanding service in a professional and efficient manner
  • first class waiter service skills in a range of events styles and experience as a Barista
  • immaculate grooming and personal presentation
  • the ability to work proactively and autonomously
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work under pressure
