*Temp to permanent opportunity

Our client, based in the south-eastern suburbs is seeking a Knitting Machine Operator to work afternoon shift (note: initial training may be day shift).

You will operate a Circular Knitting Machine and may also be required to operate weaving looms at times. Manual handling will be a key focus.

To ensure your success:

  • Possess similar and solid work experience
  • Knowledge of knitted/and or woven fabrics (i.e. yarn types, fabric structure etc)
  • Physically fit, do manual/heavy lifting (up to 20KG) and reaching
  • Can work fast yet produce quality outcomes
  • Can recognise structural faults or discrepancies / thorough quality checks
  • Adhere to and practice OH&S standards
  • Very detailed orientated and used to intricate work
  • Work independently and apply a high level of initiative
  • Flexible and can withstand repetition
