OUR CLIENT - NOT FOR PROFIT - INDIGENOUS HEALTHCARE PROVIDER

Our Client is an Award-Winning, leading Not for Profit Organisation in the Aged Care & Community Care Sector, specialising in Indigenous Healthcare. Their primary focus and strategic directive is to improve the quality of life for vulnerable people living in regional communities, whilst respecting their way of life, culture and religious/spiritual beliefs.

They take a holistic approach to the care services they provide and the people they assist. They partner with local communities, government departments, regional support providers, health clinics, Aboriginal Medical Services and local GPs to support their programs and users of the service.

THE EXCITING OPPORTUNITY

The opportunity is for either a Graduate or Experienced Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist working either Permanent Full Time or Part Time in one of our Clients beautiful Aged Care Facilities in Alice Springs in the Northern Territory.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

• Will have Qualifications in Physiotherapy or as an Occupational Therapist and Registration with Corresponding body, or waiting on results to come through to obtain registration
• Provide a holistic approach to care, and want to make a meaningful different in people's lives
• Will be driven to want to provide the best outcomes for your Clients, by providing physical and functional mobility assessments, developing, managing and evaluating care plans
• Oversee running of exercise classes, general housekeeping and maintenance of equipment.
• Supervising Allied Health Assistances and the programs, including exercise program, soft tissue massage and hydrotherapy
