IPAR Rehabilitation is a rehabilitation provider focussed on achieving excellent outcomes for stakeholders in the Victorian workers compensation and Comcare schemes. IPAR Rehabilitation provides high quality occupational and vocational rehabilitation and injury management consulting services to insurance companies, self-insurers and private organisations.

Since our inception, we have experienced continued, sustainable growth so that we now have the ability to offer an exciting opportunity for you to gain some real experience in the industry. We offer the opportunity to work directly with a team of high performing consultants to develop a wide variety of skill sets including workers compensation case management, ADL assessments, Vocational Assessments, Transferrable Skills Analysis, Labour Market Analysis, and project work.

Occupational Rehabilitation Assistant

Are you interested in the occupational rehabilitation field?

Do you want to get some hands-on experience in the industry?
Full Time role available. Part-time (4 days per week) available on request.
Melbourne CBD, Canberra or Queensland locations
Hybrid office-based and work from home position.

To be successful in this role you will have the following attributes:

Current enrolment (3rd or 4th year) in or completion of an undergraduate health-related tertiary course, such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, and Health Science is desired;
Admin experience within the health, medical, insurance or worker's compensation fields is highly regarded;
A genuine interest in occupational rehabilitation;
Excellent attention to detail;
Great written communication skills for a professional setting;
Drive to achieve results;
Proficiency with computer use (Microsoft office suite);
Have effective time management and be able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment.

You will be provided with appropriate training by our experienced health professionals and the opportunity to step into a Consultant role in the future (depending on your qualifications).
