Trainer & Assessor- FNS40815 - Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking
AIMS Institute of Training and Technology is a budding organisation in the process of attaining our registration as an accredited training provider with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).
We have a contractor role for suitably qualified Trainer/Assessor interested in joining our motivated and enthusiastic team to deliver the FNS40815 - Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking training program.
Initially, the Trainer/Assessor will be held on a retainer as we move through the RTO application process which can take up to 6 months.
All courses will be delivered online two days a week via ZOOM/MS TEAM.
Responsibilities
The Trainer and Assessor have the following duties and responsibilities (Not limited to):
- Develop training and assessment resources
- Contribute to the development of curriculum, teaching methods and resources and student assessment procedures.
- Undertake assessment moderation and validation activities.
- Participate in AIMS Institute of Training and Technology’s continuous improvement activities, which includes providing suggestions and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Plan training and assessment sessions.
- Deliver and coordinate training in accordance with the requirements of the training strategy using suitable and effective training methods.
- Protect the privacy of students in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Role
The Trainer and Assessor is to develop and deliver high-quality training and assessment services to AIMS Institute of Training and Technology‘s learners and to provide suitable training support services.
To be considered for this role, you will possess:
- Relevant and current Finance and Mortgage Broking experience.
- Academic teaching experience in VET, including planning and designing training/assessment materials and student engagement and assessment.
- Ability to further develop teaching expertise, including the use of technology for teaching and learning.
- Ability to update student records and mark assessments in a timely manner and in accordance with AIMS’ policy and procedure.
- Experience and commitment to work in a cross-cultural environment and support students from diverse backgrounds Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining industry and VET currency.
Key Selection Criteria: Successful candidates must
- hold a qualification in FNS40815 - Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking or higher.
- hold TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or its successor) or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with the following units
· either TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A and
· either TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B
- have a minimum of two years of current professional experience in the Finance and Mortgage Broking sector
- have excellent communication and presentation skills
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 6 per week
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
