Experienced horticulturist

Opportunity to join expanding Garden maintenance and landscaping company.

Spencer Garden Design & Horticultural Services are a small, friendly and dedicated team based in the Inner Northern Suburbs.

The position involves all aspects of garden maintenance, including turf installation and care, and irrigation installation and servicing. Suitable applicant must be passionate, reliable, hard working and show initiative.

Attention to detail and a positive work ethic are required.

You will need to demonstrate excellent skills in all aspects of garden care and maintenance, including:

• Regular and semi-regular ongoing garden maintenance
• Irrigation including installations, review and repairs
• Expert pruning and trimming
• Professional hedging
• Garden clean-ups
• Lawn mowing and maintenance
• Turf installation
• Garden design and implementation
• Weeding
• Insecticide and pesticide garden treatments
• Garden fertilising
• Mulching and composting
• All aspects of soft landscaping
• Some hardscaping landscape works

Skills and Experience

• Horticulture Qualification (Cert III)
• Driver's Licence
• Excellent Communication and customer service skills
• Experience in Gardening and a passion for horticulture
• Strong attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• White card (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Casual, Permanent

Salary: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Supplementary Pay:

• Performance bonus
