JOB DESCRIPTION
Pittwater has an exciting opportunity for a experienced Pub or Club Cellarman to join the team on a full time basis.
The Cellarman at Pittwater is responsible for working within the team to ensure the accurate receipt of stock and the management of stock movements throughout the venue.
As an internal service provider your ability to develop, establish and maintain quality relationships with your colleagues is essential. In addition, your eye for detail and commitment to Workplace Health and Safety will be highly regarded.
Your role will include but not be limited to the following duties:
- Receiving and accounting for incoming stock, internal stock movements and stocking bars with beverage and consumable products effectively
- Receiving and accounting for catering stock, stock movements under the direction of the Head Chef
- Cellar maintenance including line cleaning as scheduled
- Ensuring that bar/back of house maintenance is kept up to date and liaising with maintenance regarding items that require escalation
- Ability to process incoming and stock transfers
- Reporting stock discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with food safety principles
- Previous cellar experience is essential
- Full-Time, inclusive of some evening and weekend work
- RSA essential for the successful applicant
