About the opportunity
Dubbo Health Service are seeking an enthusiastic and highly experienced Clinical Nurse Educator within the Paediatric Ward. The successful Clinical Nurse Educator will provide clinical education, orientation, skill accreditation and professional development support for all nursing staff and students. While working collaboratively with nursing staff and managers to identify and prioritise individual and unit learning needs.

Where you'll be working
Dubbo Hospital is a major rural referral facility on the edge of the western plains of outback Australia. It is a rapidly growing hospital providing critical care, specialist medical inpatient and outpatient services, surgery, mental health and many specialised allied health and medical outreach services.

The hospital has had significant investment over the last 5 years including $91.3M for the completed clinical services building that features dialysis, maternity, operating theatres and day surgeries. A further $150M is also committed for a new 34 bed surgical unit (completed) and work started on new clinical building that will house the emergency department, medical imaging, ambulatory care services and critical care.
