About the Role
NSW Telco are looking
for a Senior Commercial Officer to join our team. As part of a growing team (focussed
on category management) you will be responsible supporting the commercial
process of one of NSW’s largest telecommunications infrastructure development programs.
Your typical day will involve partnering with business stakeholders to
understand their sourcing and contracting needs, managing tenders (from
procurement plan through to tender evaluation, negotiation and contract award)
and working alongside your Commercial team mates to deliver top quality service
to the business.
You will ensure that
NSW procurement policy is followed, procurement risks are identified and
mitigated, and that contracts are executed and managed appropriately to drive
the best commercial outcomes for NSW. This includes developing and
administering contract management plans, negotiating contract changes and
managing supplier performance to deliver contract terms.
You will be a
self-starter with the ability to build relationships (internal and external),
manage your own procurement projects and document commercial decisions to
provide an audit trail and report on contractor delivery.
You will also act as
one of many practical voices in internal and external activity. You will
provide governance and advice to internal stakeholders and external
vendors and build expertise in procurement and procurement categories across
the organisation.
For the right

officers and did we mention it’s working on one of the most important and
largest programs in NSW
About
