The role – Autonomy to steer the ship towards success 

With 300 employees who service over 250 residential aged care places, Independent living facilities and rapidly growing NDIS services, the CEO is responsible for leading the successful service delivery and operations of all Beaumont Care businesses. The CEO will coach, mentor and develop all direct reports and further develop a company culture known for resident focus, achievement, positive support, continuous learning, trust and respect. 

What you will be doing – leading, supporting and guiding the team and…

  • striving to meet strategic, financial and operational performance goals including the creation and submission of budgets and forecasts and regular monitoring and review of results with the leadership team and Beaumont Care boards
  • contributing to the design of the Strategic Plan and strategy initiatives then driving the implementation of the strategy
  • championing positive people leadership practices including developing, coaching and supporting leaders and implementing effective integrated employee frameworks that support the delivery of business goals
  • being a brand ambassador and representing Beaumont Care within the industry
  • ensuring Beaumont Care services and operations are delivered in accordance with regulatory requirements and the Aged Care Standards

You will have exceptional leadership skills including the ability to: coach and develop leaders; get out and about to communicate with employees; and create a positive and effective work culture. You will be a strategic thinker as well as a strong driver of business initiatives and operations. Your strong financial acumen, commercial judgment and business awareness will help you identify adverse trends early and take decisive corrective action. Emotional intelligence is important as you will face confronting situations requiring empathy and tactful communication.

Selection Criteria – Preferred applicants should:

  • Previous experience (preferably at least 5 years) as a CEO OR a senior executive in a role with similar scope
  • Comprehensive Aged Care experience and understanding including a thorough knowledge of the Aged Care Quality standards and the progress of the Royal Commission
  • Exceptional written, oral and presentation communication skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite of applications
  • Strong ability to influence, network and negotiate
  • Well organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Possess (or be able to obtain) a Blue card, Yellow card, a current National Police Certificate and current drivers licence
