CORPORATE APPLICATION ADMINISTRATOR HR INFORMATION SYSTEMS

This critical position will lead the development and implementation of core HR business processes and service excellence solutions that align with clients needs and technical priorities. The role will also oversee the project/change management cycle including communications, training and coaching related to system implementation.

The Corporate Application Administrator HR Information Systems will oversee the Citys payroll function and payroll team, ensuring contemporary, accurate and timely delivery of the Citys payrolls.

The successful applicant will have a Degree in Information Systems or similar with proven practical experience as a systems specialist in HR/Payroll coupled with well-developed communication skills and an ability to lead, motivate and coach a team to achieve customer centric service, desired outputs and targets. The role will also coach and mentor other stakeholders in the organisation to embed HR Information System and process change

TEAM LEADER ARBORIST

This position will provide on the ground leadership to crews in the arboricultural services unit ensuring effective, efficient and safe removal and or maintenance of trees for the City of Hobart. The Team Leader Arborist will continue to source and implement best practice services within the unit relative to the function whilst ensuring all aspects of our Work Health and Safety Policy, procedures and legislative requirements are in place at all times.

The successful applicant will have proven supervisory ability, a Cert III in Arboriculture or equivalent and demonstrated experience in all aspects of pruning, removal, climbing and tree work using EWP. Effective time management, problem solving along with a Medium Rigid licence and a Working with Vulnerable People card are essential.
