JOB DESCRIPTION

Chandler Macleod are currently seeking applications for a Rendering Plant Production Worker for a high profile Client in Tamworth.

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Production Worker will primarily be responsible for ensuring the day to day tasks are completed in a timely manner to ensure the continued functioning of the Rendering Plant. This will include:

  • Receivals of offal products
  • Rendering of raw materials
  • Storage and dispatch of finished product
  • Maintenance of plant equipment
  • Meeting customer quality requirements in addition to legislative and regulatory requirements in relation to the operation of a Poultry Rendering Plant
  • Loading/unloading trucks
The succesfful candidate will have full availability in regard to work hours and be available to work on Saturday's as required.

To be considered for this position, candidates will: * Be reliable and have a strong commitment to safety in the workplace
  • Hold a current driver's licence
  • Preferably hold a current forklift ticket
  • Have a basic understanding of HACCP, OH&S and environmental systems in the workplace
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Be a responsible team member with the ability to follow instructions and abide by site policies and procedures
