As Appian’s Director of Demand Generation , you’ll be leading Appian’s digital presence and growth across various platforms for the APAC region. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced digital marketing guru who is interested in working in a collaborative team environment at a fast-growing company. We’re looking for someone ambitious with cutting-edge thinking to keep pushing the Appian brand forward.

About The Role

  • Help to develop and execute the digital marketing plan, working in close alignment with Corporate Marketing, as well as APAC RVP, Account Executives and Business Development Representatives
  • Support corporate digital advertising campaigns, including paid search, social, display, email and video campaigns to drive a large percentage of the region’s inbound lead flow
  • Understand and communicate marketing strategy, value proposition, positioning and messaging to regional Sales Executives so that they are aware, knowledgeable and “enabled” with the latest and most powerful content for effective use in sales cycles
  • Develop and execute account-based marketing activities to align with account specific territory plans and enable lead generation activities for the region
  • Regularly manage and review campaign performance metrics with key stakeholders, including leads and ROI by campaign, channel, and source
  • Manage day-to-day relationship with the PR agency, with the Corporate Communication Team’s guidance, with the objective to strengthen the company’s brand position in APAC
  • Maintain internal media spend tracking documents and regular reporting of paid digital media channel performance
  • Help plan and execute joint marketing programs with key partners, track and report on key performance metrics and analyze the results of launched initiatives
  • Coordinate and carry out project deliverables on schedule and to budget
  • Event management as needed
  • Ability to travel if required


About You
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 8+ years Digital Marketing experience within an Enterprise Software environment
  • Confident with digital media performance KPIs and optimisations
  • Experienced in crafting results-driven marketing campaigns and programs
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) web content management systems and email marketing platforms
  • Proven success in working collaboratively with Sales
  • Critical thinking, problem solving skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experienced in managing vendor relationships
  • Experienced in using CRM and Marketing Automation systems/tools
