We have a great position for an experienced and highly organised Promotions Manager to join our team at Support Centre in Maribyrnong. As Promotions Manager you will ensure our promotional plans succeed and our brand remains top of mind with valued customers.

What will you contribute to?

Within the role, you will be responsible for the many facets of promotional management across the Best Friends and My Pet Warehouse brands. These key contributions include:

  • Develop and inputting to strategy with the merchandise and marketing teams the horizon of promotional plans and managing the end to end cyclical and event based promotional activity,
  • Maintain and analyse promotional events based data and share insights for the effective execution of future seasonal and cyclical promotional activity,
  • Manage business critical paths across the business towards the timely and organised delivery of promotional plans and associated activity,
  • Ensure timelines and tasks are followed, ensuring that all stakeholders remain on time and on track,
  • Provide recommendations and updates to improve systems, documents and critical business paths for all future promotional programs,
  • Liaise with merchandise and marketing teams to deliver successful promotional campaigns, while resolving any discrepancies or issues impeding successful delivery,
  • Maintain clarity and alignment of the process and promotional objectives to ensure excellent execution every time,
  • Provide business administration and support in the development, implementation and review of monthly, seasonal and event based promotional campaigns
  • Provide insightful and accurate reports from promotional campaigns for use by the business and teams
  • Maintain company and industry knowledge and obligations by maintaining current knowledge of products, practices and business services to maintain an understanding of our business objectives and competitive advantage within the industry,
  • Uphold our consumer and industry standards and obligations to mitigate risks and maintain brand reputation,

Leadership experience and qualities

We are seeking the following experience and qualities:

  • Experience in developing promotional strategies, plans and execution of timely and successful activities,
  • Industry knowledge within the pet care sector understanding of trends, analysis and insights to manage effective promotional campaigns,
  • Customer focus orientation in the management of internal and external customers
  • A purposeful communicator who can convey and capture information in a clear manner, while respectful of the views of others for effective collaboration
  • Professional Resilience in being able to deliver in a dynamic environment and manage competing demands with clarity and confidence
  • An ability to anticipate and balance stakeholders needs and keep all on track in organised manner to achieve key business objectives
