This organisation is a privately owned business with its Head Office in Melbourne. They produce an amazing range of quality food products locally that are marketed and distributed via a variety of channels to the Australian consumer. These channels include grocery , food service, QSR and route

Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing you will have total responsibility for Coles and Woolworths at national level, working for an organisation that values their employees and gives them every opportunity to be accountable and succeed in the role.

The role will give the incumbent total accountability , responsibility and reward for their efforts working qoh the national retailers in a category leadership capacity

You will be supported by the senior leadership team and within this flat structure you will also work closely with the marketing, finance and supply chain teams.

What you will be doing

As the National Account Manager you will:

· Be total responsible for achieving the sales and margin expectations for both Coles and Woolworths

· Forge outstanding commercial relationships with all of the key stakeholders within the customers

· Develop mutually beneficial BDP's to profitably grow the business and the account

· Manage the category reviews, promotional program and trade spend

· Work closely with the internal departments to achieve company objectives

What you can offer

The National Account Manager will have:

· Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or a related discipline

· Experience and proven success in managing Coles and/or Woolworths at a National level

· High level of commercial and financial acumen

· Outstanding negotiation and presentation skills

· Ability to succeed in a fast paced environment working with a small and dedicated team
