About Our Client:
As one of the world's largest producers of high-quality metallurgical coal, our client are leaders in large scale mining operation.
With an Australia base in the Central Highlands Region of Queensland our client has a well-established mining operation supplying materials to some of the worlds leading steel producers.
About the Role:
Seeking experienced Electricians to commence at our clients mining operations in Queensland Central Highlands Region. You will be part of an innovative and skilled team of maintenance personnel following this sites lifestyle roster.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Commitment to upholding all safety standards and procedures
Installations and testing
Inspections and maintenance as per site schedules
Repairs to electrical systems on all infrastructure ??? including main buildings/crib huts
Ability to troubleshoot promptly and effectively
Reading diagrams and designs
Reporting to supervisors and site infrastructure management on all electrical issues
Skills and Experience:
Trade Qualified Electrician
Current Standard 11
Current Coal Board Medical
Drivers Licence
Certified - First Aid/CPR
Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol screening
Ability to pass Challenge Test
