A globally well-known financial technology vendor specializing in compliance solutions is hiring for an experienced Solution Architect to join their team in Sydney. The Solution Architect must be equipped with a strong software development background and with a robust technical understanding of complex IT Infrastructure Landscapes from the large-scale organizations.

The Solution Architect will play a critical and lead role from software design to delivery. This position will provide technical expertise of the solution & platform to clients across the stages of solution design, client integrations, and overall implementation according to the core product architecture.

Ideal Candidate:

• At least 8 years of solid experience in software development with 2 years proven experience as a software/technical architect
• Hands-on experience in all aspects of software project life cycles from requirements gathering, through design, development, and implementation
• Expertise with .NET or Java (or other OOP), SQL, or Oracle technologies is required
• Excellent understanding of system integration, web services, etc.
• Experience with Oracle database and middleware
• Comfortable in Agile environment
• Microsoft Certification is preferred
